Communities That Have Merged Into Villoux

The following is an exhaustive list of all independent gaming communities that have chosen to merge themselves into the Villoux Server System.  Upon merging, the communities gave Villoux complete control over their properties and relinquished all autonomy.

Cake Town 🇺🇸

After a four-year’s long history with Villoux inclusive of an alliance and a conflict, the Owner of Cake Town and Villouxian, Madison decided to close her server and request refuge in Villoux in October of 2016.  The Villoux Chief of Staff, Dr. Baskerville accepted Madison’s offer and Cake Town was absorbed into Villoux, bringing with it only Madison herself.  The then Baskerville Advisor Manager, Flosion and the user, Grazey had both been using Cake Town’s TeamSpeak server somewhat frequently, but returned their full attention to Villoux after the merge.

Crispy's Realm 🇺🇸

In May of 2016, the former System Press Officer, Cperalta requested to apply his private Realm of the Mad God server, Crispy’s Realm, to the then Realm of the Mad God Department Chairman, Meowzo.  Intrigued by his offer, Meowzo brought it to the attention of the Chief of Staff, Dr. Baskerville.  Remembering the moderate success of previous private Realm servers, Baskerville advised Meowzo to accept Cperalta’s offer and Crispy’s Realm was officially merged into Villoux.

Diamond Server System 🇺🇸

The Grand Council voted to present an offer to Diamond Chief of Staff, CnTexas96 in which Villoux would purchase the entirety of Diamond.  Texas agreed to the offer, and Villoux officially absorbed Diamond in April of 2012.  The entities that Villoux acquired in the purchase were the Diamond Server System’s TeamSpeak server, the Minecraft servers Basic Craft and Wooden Sword PvP, and Diamond’s Enjin forums.  Basic Craft was reintroduced to Villoux under a new Server Head, Wooden Sword PvP merged with Villoux’s factions/PVP server Craft of the Titans, and the Diamond TeamSpeak server and forums were shut down.

Drug Craft 🇺🇸

When the then Executive Baskerville Assistant, Sullivan became enamored with the Drug Craft, he presented the Villoux Head, Dr. Baskerville with the idea of merging the server with Villoux.  Ultimately, Baskerville decided to act on Sullivan’s recommendation and requested a meeting be arranged with ZdPanthr.  Panthr agreed to the meeting and was impressed with Baskerville’s eloquence and visions for the future, as well as the benefits offered by joining the system.  The transition process was swift with Villoux assuming complete control of the server in a matter of days.  Villoux’s TeamSpeak server traffic increased dramatically with the addition of the server, and the server made a long-lasting legacy in the system.

Easter Coalition 🇪🇺

During October of 2014, the Baskerville Advisor, Crepim became involved with an alliance of Archeage guilds, the Easter Coalition.    Intrigued with the possibility of a traffic increase, the Villoux Chief of Staf, Dr. Baskerville requested Crepim arrange a meeting between him and the leader of the coalition, Pedr0Kaz.  In the meeting, Baskerville explained the benefits of joining the system to Pedr0Kaz. At the same time, Villoux users joined guilds in the coalition and ultimately persuaded Pedr0Kaz to merge with Villoux.

 Eight-Bit Death Guild 🇺🇸

Though most other guilds that have merged with Villoux would not be considered as “independent communities”, the Realm of the Mad God Eight-Bit Death Guild was a unique exception for multiple reasons.  To start, it was the first game other than Minecraft to be officially recognized with a spacer on Villoux’s TeamSpeak server and have an individual assigned to it to serve as Department Chairman.  Effectively, it was the second official department Villoux ever had, and marked the system’s expansion into games other than Minecraft.  Eight-Bit Death was a very sizable guild and was well-renowned in the Realm of the Mad God community, ranking amongst the top twenty guilds out of several hundred in the game.

One of Eight-Bit Death’s fifty members was a Villoux user, Alch.  Noticing how cluttered the Skype sessions of Eight-Bit Death were, Alch recommended that the guild change its verbal communication application to TeamSpeak.  As a longtime member of Villoux, Alch recommended that Villoux become Eight-Bit Death’s new home.  The Grand Council Member, ZdPanthr and the TeamSpeak Operator, Cody were also in the guild and encouraged this idea. Intrigued by Alch’s proposition, the Guild Leader, Flosion discussed the request with his fellow guild leaders, Gooky and VirtusHood, both of whom supported the idea. This led to Flosion requesting an audience with the Villoux Chief of Staff, Dr. Baskerville to discuss a merger.  With promises of high TeamSpeak traffic increase, Flosion convinced Dr. Baskerville of the merits of hosting their guild and in March of 2012, Eight-Bit Death formally became a member of the Villoux Server System and ceased to operate independently.

Fremminik's Realm 🇪🇺

In January of 2017, directly after his tenure as Villoux’s Realm of the Mad God Department Chairman and Server Head of Villoux’s private Realm of the Mad God server, Villoux’s Realm, Silent began to operate his own private Realm of the Mad God server, Fremminik’s Realm, which he resigned his position in Villoux to administrate.  Without a Server Head for Villoux’s Realm, the server went offline.  Impressed with the success of Fremminik’s Realm, the Villoux Chief of Staff, Dr. Baskerville urged the Villoux Grand Council to propose a purchase of the server to reintegrate into Villoux as a new Villoux’s Realm.  The Grand Council obliged Dr. Baskerville’s request, and he tasked the Executive Baskerville Assistant, Spazproof with negotiating with Silent to discuss hearing Baskerville’s request.  Spazproof was successful in producing an audience between Baskerville and Silent at which time Baskerville presented an offer for his server. Silent accepted the offer and the server, the server's source code and files, and the server's staff joined Villoux.

Kinfers Team 🇵🇹

Looking to expand the number of non-Americans on Villoux’s TeamSpeak server, the Villoux Chief of Staff, Dr. Baskerville contacted the Villoux user, JynX123, who operated a private TeamSpeak server with many Europeans, in August of 2013.  After meeting with Baskerville, the Team Captain of the Portuguese team, Ace agreed to merge his team with Villoux, initiating a merge between the two communities which still benefits them both today.  Though most team’s joining the system would not be considered a “merger”, it is important to note this one since it began Villoux’s shift towards a more international community and marked the entry of the large Portuguese community, which remains pivotal to Villoux several years later.

Liquid Server System 🇨🇦

When the Villoux Server System bought the Diamond Server System in May of 2012, several of Diamond’s users had either seceded from Diamond to start their own server systems or left after Villoux purchased Diamond.  Amongst the latter group was a former Villoux user, Sullivan, who founded his own new server system, the Liquid Server System.  Sullivan applied his server system for membership in the International System Alliance and was accepted.  The Villoux Chief of Staff, Dr. Baskerville served as the President of the International System Alliance and tasked the Minecraft Server Head, Vice President of the International System Alliance, and former leading Diamond user, Penguin with convincing Sullivan of joining Villoux, as he convinced Diamond to join Villoux.  Penguin was able to successfully convince Sullivan of the merits of joining Villoux and he requested to merge with the system in July.

Lunacy's Realm 🇺🇸

In June of 2016, the Realm of the Mad God Department user, Lunacy noticed the limited success of Villoux’s private Realm of the Mad God server, Crispy’s Realm.  Interested in expanding his own server, Lunacy applied his server, Lunacy’s Realm, to the Realm of the Mad God Department Chairman, Meowzo.  Upon the advice of the Villoux Chief of Staff, Dr. Baskerville, Meowzo accepted the application and Lunacy’s Realm merged into Villoux’s Realm. The server operated extremely successfully in Villoux, but later illegally seceded.

Lyllox Server System 🇺🇸

Starting in September of 2012, the Lyllox Server System operated as a daughter system to Villoux allowing a place for potential Villoux servers and departments to grow.  It also served as a member of the International System Alliance as a non-voting governed property that advocated for Villoux interests. For most of its history, the Villoux Chairman Committee had direct control over all of Lyllox, including appointing its Chief of Staff and Grand Council Members.  When the Chairman Committee was absorbed into the Villoux Grand Council by the Grand Council Reforms of 2015, the Grand Council then assumed full control over Lyllox.  By April of 2015, the Grand Council saw Lyllox as an opportunity to increase Villoux’s own TeamSpeak traffic, so the Council moved to merge Lyllox with Villoux and rename the organization with the purpose of Lyllox as the “Misc. Gaming Spacer” by enacting the Lyllox Ordinance.  Since then, Lyllox has existed in name only as the Lyllox Ordinance – the ordinance in the Villoux Bill of Ordinances that defines how the misc. gaming spacer is administrated.

Overgamers Community 🇵🇹

In September of 2013, the then TeamSpeak Operator, Ace and the then user, Crepim had recently joined the Villoux Server System and were interested in bringing all their friends to Villoux so they would all be in one place. Ace requested the Villoux Chief of Staff, Dr. Baskerville contact the Fundador of the Overgamers Community, Miguelito, which is where their friends were.  Baskerville agreed to contact Miguelito about a merge and met with him.  With more members of Overgames using Villoux’s TeamSpeak server regularly, Miguelito saw no need to continue hosting his own server, so the Overgames Community agreed to formally merge with Villoux in January of 2014.

Rise of Nations Community 🇨🇦

In October of 2012, the then Grand Council Veteran, Sullivan, who had retired the month prior from the position of Executive System Coder in Villoux, took some time away from Villoux to work on a side project with his friend, Commander_Derpy.  The project was a Tekkit Minecraft server called “Rise of Nations”, which began gathering a following due to the server’s idea’s popularity of various Tekkit forums.  When this was brought to the attention of the Villoux Chief of Staff and Minecraft Department Chairman, Dr. Baskerville, he contacted Sullivan about joining the server to Villoux.  Despite wanting to prove that he could operate a successful server on his own, Sullivan realized that the resources offered by Villoux could prove necessary for his server.  After a conversation with then Grand Council Member, Crokey, he decided to apply his server to the system.

RPS TeamSpeak Server 🇪🇪

In June of 2014, the League of Legends Department Chairman, ChewOnDiss and the Villoux Chief of Staff, Dr. Baskerville were attempting to bolster the League of Legends Department’s international user base, specifically with users from Nordic countries.   This led them to the RPS TeamSpeak server, which hosted many Estonian League of Legends players.  Baskerville spoke with the owner of the TeamSpeak server, whose name was lost with time, about a merger, but the owner declined the offer.  Witnessing the meeting was the Head Admin of RPS, F0RUM.  F0RUM bookmarked Villoux’s TeamSpeak server’s IP address if anything happened with RPS.  Only a matter of weeks later, the RPS TeamSpeak server was subject to several DDoS attacks against its host.  Discontent with the server’s downtime, F0RUM came to Baskerville and offered a former merger on behalf of the users of RPS.  Though F0RUM was not the owner, Baskerville accepted his offer since he was the second highest ranking member of the server and represented the will of the majority of the server’s users.  The small Estonian population remains in Villoux to this day, several years after the merger.

Snowflake Pixelmon 🇨🇦/🇹🇹/🇺🇸

In October of 2012, the then Baskerville Assistant, Cronus began playing on a Minecraft server moded with Pixelmon, which added Pokémon to the game.  Cronus was very impressed with the server and brought it to the attention of the Villoux Chief of Staff, Dr. Baskerville who then arranged for a meeting with the owner of Snowflake Pixelmon, Stutterfoot.  Baskerville explained the process to apply a server to Villoux and Stutterfoot committed himself to the process.  In the first month of the server joining the system, the Snowflake Pixelmon users quickly began to assimilate into Villoux.

Spirit Server System 🇺🇸

When Villoux purchased the Diamond Server System and absorbed the community, the Spirit Chief of Staff, Cronus felt that he would be unable to compete against Villoux, so he requested to merge his server system with Villoux.  Baskerville agreed to the merger, and the Spirit Server System was officially surrendered to Villoux, bringing with it nothing but its name and Cronus, who went on to serve in numerous positions on the Villoux Grand Council.
